Dr. Ilana Kraus

Dr. Kraus has thoroughly enjoyed practicing dentistry for the last 15 years. After earning her D.D.S. degree from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto, Dr. Kraus completed a residency program in Advanced General Dentistry at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. A Toronto native, Dr. Kraus and her family spent several years of her childhood living in San Jose, Costa Rica, where she fell in love with Latin culture and the Spanish language.

Dr. Kraus is committed to continuing education and is an active member of the Toronto Crown & Bridge Study Club as well as the International Dental Society of Alpha Omega (AO). She has followed in the footsteps of Dr. Laurel and is the current President of the Toronto chapter of AO. In this leadership position, she helps organize educational, philanthropic, and social initiatives for over 500 dentists in the city.

Dr. Kraus is passionate about improving access to patient care and has volunteered with organizations that provide treatment to impoverished communities both locally as well as overseas.

With great enthusiasm for the performing arts, Dr. Kraus enjoys complimenting her appointments with music and humour to provide a relaxing and positive experience for all.
